Globos started as an exploration of Plaster. We were interested in this material because it gave us the possibility of quick exploration and iteration since this material is able to air dry. We also liked the fact that it was biodegradable.
We were inspired by Maarten de Ceulaer's 'Balloon Bowls' to explore the use of natural dyes and shape creation. This project focused on exploration and playfulness, we had no concrete goal in mind other than to experiment with the technique and the material.
The results of the exploration are a collection of 'cracked eggshell-shaped' bowls called Globos.
